Even though the summer air
Is hot and sweaty
And my clothes may get
Wet and sticky
I still love the way
The sun shines
Through the day
And the way the grass is tall and green
It’s breath taking all the beauty that surrounds me
There may be drama all around me
With the war and fighting families
But nothing will take away
All this beauty that I see
